Highland’s Jacob Van Orden signs to run track and cross country at Columbia

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - A local runner is heading to the Ivy League, as Jacob Van Orden officially signed his letter of intent Thursday to run track and cross country at Columbia University.

Van Orden said running at the division I level has been his dream for years, and by signing the letter Thursday, he has achieved it.

Congratulations to Jacob and his family, and good luck at Columbia!
