Bandits sweep Upper Valley in doubleheader to extend win streak to eight games

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Bandits remain perfect in the month of June by sweeping the Upper Valley Bulldogs Friday in a doubleheader.

The Bandits won both games in two very different fashions. Game one was a blowout victory 12-1 in which Idaho Falls mercy-ruled Upper Valley in the sixth inning.

Game two, meanwhile, was a comeback victory. The Bandits went down 4-0 in the second and trailed 6-1 after four and a half innings. But then, the bats came alive as Idaho Falls stormed back to take the lead and the win.

Next up, the Bandits head to a tournament in Medford, Oregon, which begins Thursday.
