Bandits and Runnin’ Rebels split a Wednesday doubleheader in Pocatello

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Bandits and Pocatello Runnin' Rebels battled hard on the diamond Wednesday, splitting a doubleheader at Halliwell Park. Pocatello took game 1 12-9 and Idaho Falls won game 2 11-3.

After the Bandits scored three runs on a two out rally in the first inning, the Runnin' Rebels tallied 11 unanswered runs, and they held that lead for the victory.

Idaho Falls stormed back in game 2 with nine runs in the first two innings, taking a big lead the Bandits would not give up in an eight run win.

Next up, the Bandits face the Twin Falls Cowboys in the Magic Valley Thursday in a doubleheader while the Runnin' Rebels travel to Blackfoot for a Friday twin billing.
