Rigby’s Kambree Barber, all-area girls basketball player of the year, commits to BYU

RIGBY, Idaho (KIFI) - The all-area girls basketball player of the year has committed to play for the BYU Cougars in 2024 after a super sophomore season, according to Rigby Girls Basketball Head Coach Todd Barber.

Kambree Barber will join a Cougars squad with former Burley Girls Basketball Head Coach Amber Whiting at the helm and her daughter Gatorade Idaho Girls Basketball Player of the Year Amari Whiting, who joins BYU in 2023 after recommitting from Oregon recently.

Along with Whiting, Barber adds local talent to the Cougars in the future.
