A second half explosion propels Madison to a 5-0 shutout win over Skyline

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - In a 5A-4A clash Monday night, an even battle turned into a blowout when the Madison Bobcats exploded offensively for five goals and a 5-0 win over the Skyline Grizzlies.

The Bobcats and the Grizz traded scoring chance for scoring chance in the first half, but neither team found twine.

But the second half proved to be much different on one side, with Madison scoring five goals in the half for the shutout win.

Next up, Madison travels to Timberline in Boise Friday at 4:30 p.m. while Skyline hosts Thunder Ridge Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
