Chukars losing streak extended to four games with 5-1 loss to Hawks

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - At a time when the Idaho Falls Chukars need wins the most, the Chuks have gone cold, and they have now lost four straight games following a 5-1 defeat against the Boise Hawks.

It was an even game through four innings, with each team mustering a run. However, Boise took the lead in 5th inning, then rattled off three runs in the sixth for a big lead.

Idaho Falls couldn't answer the crooked number, and the Chukars lost their fourth straight game, with one win still needed to clinch the Highway Series and the Traffic Cone Trophy.

Next up, the Chukars get another shot at a bounce back win Wednesday at 7:20 p.m. on Chamber of Commerce Night. There will also be a pregame tribute at Melaleuca Field to the 2022 Idaho Falls Bandits.
