Thunder Ridge spoils Idaho Falls’ first game on Ravsten Stadium turf, winning 25-15

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - In the first game on astroturf at Ravsten Stadium, the Thunder Ridge Titans played spoiler to the Idaho Falls Tigers in a 25-15 win, the first for Michael Berger as Head Coach of the Titans.

It was an even, low-scoring matchup throughout the first half, with Idaho Falls ahead at the break. But the Titans got some offense going in the second half.

Thunder Ridge scored 18 unanswered points, which included a touchdown and a two-point conversion to tie the game at 15 in the third quarter and a field goal to take the lead. An insurance score helped the Titans pull off the 10-point win.

Next up, Thunder Ridge hosts Hillcrest next Friday while Idaho Falls heads to the Magic Valley to battle Twin Falls. Both games kick off at 7:00 p.m.
