Thunder Ridge explodes for 13 goals in a 13-1 victory over Hillcrest

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - The Thunder Ridge Titans have extended their early-season win streak to four games, and they did it Tuesday with a whopping 13 goals against the Hillcrest Knights in a 13-1 win.

The Titans scored first, but Hillcrest answered just a couple minutes later to tie the game. But from there, Thunder Ridge scored 12 unanswered goals, six in each half.

With 13 goals, it was a big day for multiple Titans. Freshman Marisol Stosich led the way with four goals, Savannah Kenney recorded a hat trick, and Cassandra Sotelo and Gigi Chavez each scored twice.

Next up, Thunder Ridge travels south to Preston for a non-conference battle Wednesday, while Hillcrest heads to Bonneville Friday. Both games kick off at 4:30 p.m.
