On a hot afternoon, Hillcrest and Thunder Ridge play to a 1-1 draw
AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - In a hard-fought battle, the Hillcrest Knights and Thunder Ridge Titans drew at one goal apiece Wednesday afternoon in 90-plus degree heat.
The Titans got on the scoreboard first very late in the 1st half, and Thunder Ridge took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Hillcrest struck back in the 2nd half, though, as Thomas Endsley found the back of the net to tie the game for the Knights, forcing a 1-1 draw.
Next up, Hillcrest hosts Bonneville Friday at 4:30 p.m. while Thunder Ridge stays home to take on Preston Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
