Sugar-Salem wallops Shelley 51-21 in a rivalry matchup to start the season 3-0

SHELLEY, Idaho (KIFI) - The Sugar-Salem Diggers are red hot, and they continue to win by a big margin. Sugar took down the Shelley Russets Friday night 51-21 in a rivalry game.

After the two teams traded touchdowns early, the Diggers ran away with score after score, eventually winning by 30.

That margin of victory, amazingly, is the Diggers' slimmest all season, Sugar now has a point differential of +132 through three games.

Next up, Sugar-Salem hosts Star Valley (WY) while Shelley travels to Burley. Both games are Friday night and begin at 7:00 p.m.
