Butte County uses strong 1st quarter to defeat Watersprings handily 66-34

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Butte County Pirates are back in the win column, and they got there in dominating fashion Friday afternoon with a 66-34 win over the Watersprings Warriors.

The Pirates scored on their first four possessions, and those touchdowns were highlighted by a Rebel Beard 67-yard scamper to the end zone that got Butte on the board.

It was 28-0 Pirates before the end of the 1st quarter, and Butte County won it by 32 points.

Next up, Butte County travels to Wilder while Watersprings heads to Grace. Both games are Friday at 7:00 p.m.
