Sports Line Game of the Week Preview: Skyline vs. Hillcrest
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - It's the rematch of an instant classic in the 4A semifinals. Skyline and Hillcrest face off Friday night for a spot in the state championship game.
Hillcrest won their regular season meeting 36-35 on a thrilling Hail Mary TD pass in the final seconds from Tyson Sweetwood to Isaac Davis, helping propel the Knights to their first 11-0 record in school history.
But the Skyline Grizz, of course, are the champs. They have won three straight state championships, and they look primed for a four-peat after dominating wins in the first two rounds against Idaho Falls and Twin Falls.
Kickoff for our Game of the Week is at 7:00 p.m. at Thunder Stadium, and we will have the highlights on Sports Line Friday Night, during Local News 8 at 10.
