Hillcrest takes defensive battle against Thunder Ridge 39-37

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - The Hillcrest Knights have their first win of the season, a close 39-37 win over the Thunder Ridge Titans.

A low-scoring game throughout, Hillcrest led 18-12 at halftime, and the scoring only picked up a little bit in the second half.

The Titans responded to the Knights multiple times, but Hillcrest kept its lead for just long enough for the two-point win.

Next up, Hillcrest travels to Madison Saturday at 2:00 p.m., while Thunder Ridge hosts Owyhee Friday at 7:30 p.m.
