The Nation’s Weather

The Nation’s Weather for Friday, October 30, 2020

Rain will depart the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts

tomorrow as colder, drier air moves into the Northeast.

Enough cold air may meet up with the back edge of

precipitation for a period of snowfall away from the coast.

Areas of the South cleaning up in the wake of Zeta will

have dry, sunny and cool weather. A few showers may dampen

far South Florida. High pressure will provide dry conditions

across the nation’s midsection, with milder air expected to

return to the south-central Plains following a string of

cold days. A storm is expected to arrive in the Pacific

Northwest, bringing showers to lower elevations with snow

reserved for the highest peaks. The Southwestern states will

stay dry and sunny.
