A cold front arrives for Tuesday with afternoon winds and a few scattered rain and snow showers. Some showers will linger into Wednesday, with clearing skies for the late half of the week.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of rain after the late morning for the Snake River Plain. Cloudy, with a high into the mid to lower 50's. South southwest winds 10-25 mph. Tuesday night, look for a mostly cloudy sky with a few showers. A low into the upper 20's and lower 30's.

Wednesday: A slight chance of rain and snow before. A high into the mid to lower 40's. Breezy, with a north northeast wind 10 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high into the lower 40's.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 40°.
