Scattered Showers this weekend

A storm system is moving through the region this weekend with scattered snow showers arriving this Saturday afternoon. Most of the snow will fall into the high county with low accumulations expected for the Snake River Plain.

Saturday: A chance of rain and snow with a high into the upper 30's and lower 40's. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Saturday night, we'll see scattered Rain and snow showers, Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Sunday: Scattered snow showers with highs into the upper 30's and lower 40's. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Sunday night, we'see some lingering showers.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30.
