Chance of showers Wednesday night, Frost Advisory Thursday morning

We have an area of low pressure overhead, moving to the east. Most of the shower activity, will move Montana and eastern Wyoming late Wednesday into Thursday. We're left with cold overnight lows into the 30's. However, look for warmer temps Thursday. Highs for Thursday, are looking to top off into the lower 70's, with winds around 10-15 MPH. For Friday, another area of low pressure works accross northern Idaho and Montana. This Friday, Saturday low, will usher in some gusty winds this weekend, with a slight thunderstorm risk.

FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM MDT THURSDAY…

  • WHAT…Temperatures as low as 37 will result in frost
    formation.
  • WHERE…Upper Snake River Plain and Deserts, including Idaho
    Falls, Rexburg, St. Anthony, Mud Lake, and Arco.
  • WHEN…From 3 AM to 9 AM MDT Thursday.
  • IMPACTS…Frost may damage or kill sensitive vegetation if left
    outside uncovered.
