Another Record Heat Day

TODAY: High temperatures could reach record highs again for today as most of the valley's are looking at temperatures in the mid 90's and mountainous areas could still get up to 90 today as well. Winds should be 10-20 mph today carrying in more dry, warm air. There is a slim 10% chance of a shower just clipping Salmon today, but besides that we are looking all clear of precipitation.

TOMORROW: A cold front does come through tomorrow morning bringing slightly cooler temperatures, but it doesn't help too much and it is not expected to bring any rain either. High temperatures drop mainly to the upper 80's in the valleys and the low to mid 80's for the mountains. Winds could see a slight increase compared to today with gusts reaching up to 25-30 mph.

LONG TERM: After the front moves through, we don't see another major system moving through for awhile. This leaves us stuck with similar conditions for a good while with high's around 90 degrees and no rain chances.
