Another cold day for Sunday, more snow arriving late Monday

We'll see more sub-zero temperatures overnight and Sunday morning, with daytime highs into the teens. Another storm system arrives into our region late Monday.

OVERNIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with a few snow flurries. Overnight lows around -5° to -10°, for the Snake River Plain. SW winds at 10 MPH.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny with highs into the upper teens and lower 20's. North winds around 10 MPH.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds later in the day. Highs into the mid 20's with winds around 5-10 MPH. Monday night, scattered snow into Tuesday with gusty winds and lows back into the upper teens.

WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM SUNDAY:

  • WHAT…Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 30 below zero.
  • WHERE…Upper and Lower Snake Plain, Eastern Magic Valley, Teton Valley, Island Park and Blackfoot Mountains including the cities of Shoshone, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, St. Anthony, Blackfoot, Burley, Rupert, Soda Springs, Tetonia and Soda Springs.
  • WHEN…From 8 PM this evening to 11 AM MST Sunday.
  • IMPACTS…The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
