Winter Weather Advisory

Lemhi County including Salmon and Leadore are under a winter weather advisory for this afternoon through tomorrow at 11am. Mixed snow showers will begin into the afternoon, creating some wintry and windy conditions with a cold front approaching. Slick roads, blowing snow, and limited visibility may all be a part of the early evening for Salmon.

Winter returns to the valley into the night and we'll watch for further advisories in the Snake River Plain into tomorrow morning. We'll have 20+ mph winds, and possibly blowing snow into morning drive at 8am. Highland areas can expect 2-4" on ridges and in mountain communities. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30's today and 20's tonight and riding at just above freezing tomorrow. Another round of moisture can be expected to push down into Wednesday adding to the dusting and several inches we're expecting later tonight and early tomorrow around the region.
