Scattered storminess into Friday

Winter Storm Watch is in effect for areas around Jackson and Winter Storm Warning for West Yellowstone, MT. Cache Valley area is under a Winter Weather Advisory to the east of I-15 south in Utah as wtintry weather enters the region and will affect areas east of I-15 through Saturday.

Ahead of a hefty cold front, we've got scattered showers and snow into the mountains/passes this morning. Temperatures are mild in the 40's and we'll warm to the 60 degree mark today, as winds and moisture kick in late tonight, even more so than today. Winds from the NW 5-15+mph today and gusty into Friday, especially with storms.

Temperatures will drop tomorrow as storms start the day, highs in the upper 40's. Mountain snows/slush may hit accumulations of 2-6" for higher points.

This will be clearing into early Saturday and temperatures will slowly rebound in the extended forecast with highs approaching 70 by mid-week next week.
