Heat Advisory this afternoon with widespread haze

High pressure and haze for today with extreme temperatures in the mid to upper 90's, even approaching 100. Mountains will be in the upper 80's. Please be aware of the widepread haze and uv index of 8. You can burn easily and heat can overcome if exposure is longer than 10-15 minutes. Use water, shade, cool places to limit your exposure to heat. This weather is also prime for fire danger. Light winds from WNW 5-10 and picking up later tonight, and lows in the 50's and 60's.

Still hot tomorrow but a little cooler with onset of moisture and clouds and then a decent drop in temperatures Friday, into the mid 80's for the valley.
