Scattered showers and thunderstorms on the way

An area of low pressure from the northwest is mixing with the leftovers of Pacific hurricane Kay. We’ll see scattered showers and thunderstorms for this week, with lower high temperatures.

Monday night, we’ll see haze and smoke from the area wildfires. Overnight lows will drop to the lower 50’s with light winds.

For Tuesday, we’ll look for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the mid 70’s with winds at 10-20 mph.

Wednesday, it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 70’s. Chance of showers and thunderstorms, with winds around 10 mph.

Thursday, showers and possibly a thunderstorm with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.

Friday, A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. We’ll see highs in the upper 60’s to the lower 70’s.
