Cold wind chills and freezing fog

We been invaded by cold air and high pressure on top of the area keeps clouds in the valley. Patchy freezing dense fog remains our big weather story and the cold temps with sub-zero wind chills can make for a lousy dreary forecast. High's today in the teens and low 20's for lower valley communities. 16 for Idaho Falls and Jackson today. Lows in the single digits tonight pushing wind chills to -20's for mountain towns.

A little "warmer" tomorrow at 22 for highs and consistently cloudy with some foggy flakes and snow showers possible especially for upper highland and mountains by Sunday. Another storm will pounce on us into mid-week with a 40% chance of snow for the valley.

Stay warm, drive safely as freezing fog can make roadways and walkways slick. Check on neighbors and friends with a phone call and limit outdoor exposure with sub-zero temps and wind chills at night.
