Warming up today

Frost advisory for the upper valley through 9am then sunny today and highs in the upper 70's to near 80 in Pocatello. Northerly light winds ahead of a low that will put us into a storm threat for tomorrow 60% chance midday through afternoon. Highs in the 70's with morning lows in the 50's.

Here's the great news, while we'll water the plants that lived through the frost (fingers crossed) the first weekend of summer rebounds with seasonal temps and nice partly sunny conditions. Highs get back to the mid 70's for most of us in the valley.

Storms will be gusty possibly Friday midday into afternoon and lingering into the evening for Island Park. Small hail, winds, lightning all included as we head into summer '23.
