Friday storms and weekend clearing

Chance of showers and thunderstorms are pretty good today, 70%, beginning mid-morning and continuing into the afternoon. Lingering storms are possible for highlands/mountains later and lingering for Saturday. Forecast calls for clearing and more warmth for the Saturday and Sunday outdoor activities.

Lows in the 40's (about average) and then we get into the 75-80 degree range for Idaho Falls and Pocatello. Jackson trending from the mid 60's to lower 70's for the weekend.

We will have some slight chances of summer showers/storms (sounds weird to say that finally, huh?) for next week and there may be some foreshadowing of the hottest days of the year coming our way by July.
