Cooler with scattered storm chances

The low that is pulling in more moisture to ignite afternoon storms is still with us. Today will be breezy and windy at times with a better (40%) chance Snake River Plain chances of storms. Highs come out of the 80's into the upper 70's today. Much more outflow today with breezes at 10-20+mph and we start the morning with lows in the 50's.

Tonight will clear and temperatures drop back to normal upper 40's range and a slight tick in highs tomorrow, edging toward seasonal averages of 80. After than slight chance of showers tomorrow, it's on like a firecracker. Warmer air invades and a long stretch of hot days culminating with 90's for the 4th of July. This brings fire danger with dry areas and fireworks and breezes, along with exposure to sun and heat.
