Hot and windy

Lake Wind Advisory today for American Falls Reservoir through 9pm tonight.

Even warmer today under high pressure with clear skies and heat taking us to the lower 90's.  This means the western side of Idaho will be even warmer probably, hence the fire weather warning for the Magic and Treasure Valleys - Winds shift south 10-20+ and gustier around storms possible in the central mountains 30+mph, Challis, Mackay, Salmon.

Winds associated with a cold front will chill us down into the upper 70's for Wednesday.  That means you can bet Thursday morning will be chilly with lows in Jackson in the 30's and 40's for the valley.  Rebounding 80's for Thursday afternoon and Friday.  Limited shower and storm chances show up at the start of the Eastern Idaho State Fair, which begins Friday 9/1 and runs through 9/9.
