Weekend storms start with winds

Frost Advisory for western desert through 9am.  Chills this morning from the upper 20's in Island Park and upper 30's to low 40's for the rest of the area.  Winds will increase with the route of the jet and an accompanying low that drafts it way from the southwest late tonight and into Saturday and will circle the wagons and round up the wind and rains for us on Sunday. Temperatures on the edge of the jet will be slightly warmer today and tomorrow, close to 70 for Pocatello.  But with the low resting on us Sunday and lingering like a relative you didn't invite over, highs drop into the 50's.  Normal seasonal temp for this time of year is 69, and we'll be below average by 10-15 degrees.  90% chance of storms Sunday.  Winds will kick to 30-40mph Saturday into the valley with dreary conditions and highs, still mild ahead of the Sunday storms, in the 60s.
