Chilly rain then wind

Chances of showers and thunderstorms are here today with winds picking up 10-20+. Breaks in the clouds for some sun into the afternoon and windy in the wake of this front which starting popping storms yesterday. Another couple of systems will converge on us Wednesday bring colder air and chances of rain/snow into lower elevations for late Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will definitely drop below average, into the 40's, with 30 in Jackson and lows in the 20's, with mid-teens in Jackson.

Rain/snow will depend on arrival and areas of moisture, but you can bet it will be sloppy and cold for mid-week, as we say goodbye to the 60's and 70's.
