More stormy weather on the way

A couple of low-pressure systems are taking aim at our region. We’ll see a break in the rain showers Monday evening through Tuesday. Another round of wet weather arrives this Wednesday. We’ll also see dropping temperatures this week, leading to the possibility of a rain and snow mix in the Snake River Plain.

Monday night, there is a slight chance of rain, under mostly cloudy skies. An overnight low temperature in the lower 40’s, in the Snake River Plain. South southwest winds at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Partly cloudy for Tuesday, with a high temperature in the upper 50’s. South southwest winds at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Rain likely for Wednesday, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high temperature in the lower 50’s. Gusty winds at 15-25 mph, with wind gusts as high as 35 mph. A chance of rain and snow for Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Snow and rain for Thursday, with a high temperature in the lower 40’s. Gusty winds at 10-20 mph, with wind gusts at 20-30 mph.
