Winter storm warning today

Winter conditions and snow continue today with snow showers a varying levels for midday. We expect another 1-2" but with blowing snow and drifts, travel remains hazardous. Winds with push 40+ mph again today.

Highs in the mid 20's. Colder tonight into the single digits for some.

After this windy WSW push, showers taper off for the valley and continue for the southeastern highlands/mountains. We've got 40% chance of showers for Thursday and 80% for Friday and another blast of moisture to cultivate more snow and insulation for Saturday. Back to the upper 20's. Sunday night brings a big cold blast with dry air and head-shaking lows for Monday morning. It will be below zero (with no wind chill).
