Cooler this week with a chances of storms
We've got a warm push from the southeast this morning, making the valley pop into the 70's to start the week. But, with a 30% chance of storms this afternoon, we'll take what we can get. - Gusty winds up to 30mph and cloud sun mix with less smoke. We may have some storms in the severe category, with winds, heavy downpours, and gusty winds and the possibility of hail.
Red flag fire warnings are in effect this afternoon for mountain areas with windy conditions and isolated thunderstorms and lightning embedded. We know how that works, so keep an eye out for fire.
Cooler air and less stable conditions tomorrow with 70% chance of thunderstorms for Tuesday. We'll drop our highs to the low 80's and even upper 70's in the valley. Lows to the 50 degree mark, as we lose high pressure and allow another system to influence our backyard. More seasonal temps and drier after Wednesday.
