Wind advisory today with gusts to 50+mph possible

Teton Valley, Arco/Mud Lake Desert, Snake River Plain, American Falls andmost of the bottom of the banana belt and US 20 and I-15 north to Roberts will see increasing winds today, as a cold front passes to the north and a ridge of high pressure flattens. Winds at 35mph and gust possible from 45-55mph from noon to 8pm. It will be bright, so take a wind breaker, literally, and sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Cooler weather returns tonight to lows around freezing for most, after a high today in the low to mid 50s.

A ramp up from 40's on Tuesday includes us heading toward the 60's by the weekend, with only mountain shower chances for Jackson and some variable clouds.
