Tracking hot and gusty thunderstorms with winds to 50+mph

Another warm day with increasing clouds and gusty heat.  Winds today may gust to 50+mph.  Wind advisory with sustained winds 25-35 mph for most of the viewing area and valley metros along I-15.  Highs around 90.

50% chance of showers and thunderstorms into the afternoon and gustier around storms with winds to 60 from outflow in and around storms.

Temps drop to the lower 40s for tonight with winds gusting to 50 mph and wind advisory ending at 10pm.  Clearing after shower chances diminish.

Much cooler for Thursday with a high in upper 60’s. Around 69 and that’s a seasonal temperature for this time of year. Winds continue to gust to near 40, and stay at 25+mph into tomorrow night.  Lows Thursday night in the lower 40’s.

Friday we get back to about 71 with sunshine and lighter winds 15-20 yet still breezy.

Friday night clear and lower 40’s with some chilly breezes at 15-20moh.

Saturday with another wave of cool air we drop temps again to the lower 60’s. Lows with be even cooler hitting 36.

Sunday will be partly sunny and highs in the mid 50’s. 56 for Idaho Falls.

Be prepared for near freezing temperatures Monday morning at 33.

Monday ends up sunny and peaking at 62.
