Rain and thunderstorms for our Saturday

We’re seeing some thunderstorms and showers for Friday evening and late tonight, as low pressure moves in from the south. For Friday night look for a chance of rain overnight, with a low temperature around the mid 40’s. Southeast winds around 10-15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected for Saturday. Cloudy skies with a high temperature in the upper 50’s to the lower 60’s for the Snake River Plain. Winds will drive in from the southwest around 15 to 25 mph. As we move into late Saturday night and early Sunday, the threat for rain and thunderstorms will continue. With overnight low temperatures dropping to around 40° in the Snake River Plain.

On Sunday, look for rain likely before noon, then some scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 60° in the Plain. South southwest winds will continue in the 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Clearing by Monday with sunny skies and lighter winds. High temperatures for Monday will reach the upper 60’s.
