Tracking a couple of warm days to start the weekend before a cold front Sunday

Sunny today with 50s this morning and calmer winds. This will warm us to the 80s today with increasing clouds into tomorrow with a slight cool down for Saturday, but still in the 80s for the afternoon with gusty winds possible. Winds from the southwest 15-30+ mph.

Shower chances enter the picture into tomorrow for Salmon with Sunday morning being the target for a cold front across the I-15 corridor early Sunday morning. It will be cooler Sunday, so grab a hoodie, as we drop temps into the upper 60s for the valley floor.

Immediately Monday we jump back to the 70s and warm on up before another spring cold front brings better chances of showers by mid-week late Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll have more seasonable weather for early June next week with highs in the low to mid 70s. Hydrate and find some shade today and tomorrow - check the backseats before you leave something important in the car or truck.
