Scattered thunderstorms with a flash flood watch posted for Thursday

We're seeing scattered showers enter the region for the next couple of days. For Wednesday night, we have a slight chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures overnight will drop to the upper 50's.

For Thursday, look for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, under mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures in the Snake River Plain will be cooler, reaching for the mid 70's.

• IMPACTS…Heavy rainfall over the Big Rock burn scar is possible Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening. Anyone in or near the Big Rock burn scar should prepare for potential debris flow moving through the Big Rock burn scar. Be sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities. Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding and debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars.

On Friday, we'll see scattered rain and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the mid 70's.

For Saturday, we'll see a chance of rain, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high temperature in the mid 70's.
