The low-pressure area will spin up moisture across western and central Idaho, while eastern locations remain mostly sunny and breezy. Temperatures will peak on Saturday before cooling down substantially by Monday.

On Friday, sunny skies are expected with a high temperature near 78 degrees. South-southwest winds of 16 to 21 mph will decrease to nine to 14 mph in the afternoon, with gusts reaching as high as 29 mph. Temperatures will fall to a low around 50 degrees Friday night under mostly clear skies. Sunny weather continues Saturday as high temperatures reach near 83 degrees, accompanied by southwest winds between nine and 14 mph and gusts up to 22 mph.

Weather conditions shift on Sunday, bringing a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon with a high near 82 degrees. Rain chances increase significantly Sunday night, carrying a 70% chance of precipitation with showers likely and thunderstorms possible before midnight. By Labor Day, mostly sunny but breezy conditions will return with a high temperature near 68 degrees and a 40% chance of rain before noon.
