Windy, warmer for Thursday; more wind and stormy this weekend

High pressure is slowly breaking down as an area of low pressure develops out of the north. Winds from the south will help drive in some warmer temperatures for Thursday. As we move in to Friday, look for gusty winds, cooler temperatures and a few thunderstorms. Sunday will be much cooler with scattered showers as the low pressure moves through.

Overnight for Wednesday night, clear skies with a low temperature around the lower 40’s. Winds will be out of the south around 5-10 mph.

Sunny for Thursday with increasing winds for the afternoon. High temperatures will be reaching the lower to mid 80’s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms for Thursday night, with gusty winds and a low temperature down to the mid 50’s.

Partly sunny for Friday with gusty winds. High temperatures will reach the upper 70’s for the Snake River Plain. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, with winds around 15-25 mph. Wind gusts will be as high as 35 mph.

More wind for Saturday, with high temperatures in the upper 70’s. Wind gusts around 35 mph. There is once again a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Mostly cloudy for Sunday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Windy with high temperatures reaching the upper 60’s.
