Tracking gusty storms and flood watch in effect

90% chance of storms today with flash flooding potential for the central snake River plain through 10pm tonight. Gusty storms can make for heavy downpours, dangerous lightning, hail, and dangerous driving conditions. A flash flood watch is in effect for today through tonight at 10pm for portions of Fremont, Madison, Jefferson, and Bonneville counties. Saturating rains and blocked canals, drains, runoff and flooding streams and creeks, and burn scar areas can affect travel with moving water, ponding drainage, and window well flooding and areas at lower elevations in your neighborhood or yard. Report flooding immediately to local officials to protect your family and others. Water is stronger than you may think and can move vehicles and equipment quickly and cause damage and threaten lives. Have a plan and watch for flooding conditions around your home and on roads. Turn around, don't drown. Hydroplaning can be life-threatening. When in doubt, don't.

70% chances of storms are continuing into tonight and 50% tomorrow with lows in the 40s and temperatures dropping to the 60's for Saturday. We will warm back up into 70's and normal temps by next week and even warmer by next Thursday and Friday.
