Tracking more unseasonable October temps with a major change coming

Monday brings sunshine with Idaho Falls near 82, Jackson is warm too, Pinedale a bit cooler. Light winds. Tuesday stays sunny and very warm, still about 20 degrees above average, great for outdoor plans but cool nights. Wednesday and Thursday look similar, upper 70s in Idaho Falls, still nice for hiking, golf, or sightseeing. Friday, sunshine near 80, still dry, like summer forgot to leave. Saturday, a change begins. Temperatures start sliding down toward the 70s. Still okay for outdoor stuff, but breezier. Sunday is the real transition. Much cooler, layers needed. Western Wyoming may see rain or even snow chances. Next Monday looks significantly colder, with Jackson dropping to snow showers and afternoons only in the 30s. Big contrast. So, enjoy the warm stretch while it lasts. October’s about to show its teeth.
