Above average temperatures this workweek; stormy weekend ahead

Dry and above normal temperatures will continue this workweek, with a big change arriving this weekend. For our Tuesday night, look for overnight lows around the upper 40’s. Winds will remain light around calm to 5 mph.

More sunshine for Wednesday, with high temperatures reaching the upper 70’s and lower 80’s for the Snake River Plain. Winds will remain light and variable wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

On Thursday, look for clear conditions and highs reaching for the upper 70’s to lower 80’s. Calm wind out of the west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Another warm day for Friday with highs near 80°.

Low pressure starts to advance out of the north this Saturday afternoon. Look for increasing winds under partly to mostly skies. High temperatures will be cooler around 70°. Scattered showers arrive late Saturday afternoon and through the overnight hours.

For Sunday and Monday, it will be cloudy with scattered rain. High temperatures will only reach the upper 50’s and lower 60’s for the Snake River Plain.
