Tracking chilly temps and isolated rain mixing with snow to start Tuesday

Well below average temps again today, by 10+ degrees.  Isolated showers, mixing with light snow at times, and highs in the upper 40's to around 50 for the Snake River Plain.  Our average temp this time of year is around 61 in IF and 63 in Pocatello.  Today may be slightly warmer but with big cloud cover, there won't be much of a sunny disposition for the forecast, until the low over us moves east by tomorrow.  Then we get back to some decent temps and clearing skies.  Still cold in the mornings with frost and freeze alerts in play for the I-15 corridor and temps dropping to mid 30's ahead of daybreak.  Where's your tomatoes?  On the counter, Margaret.  Chilly start and you'll want to find a hot beverage or heater to get in front of if you're getting the cold shoulder this morning.
