KIFI

A deepening area of low pressure is working along the west coast. Currently we're seeing above average temperatures as warmer air is moving in from the south. As the low pressure moves closer later this week, we're seeing dropping temperatures with rain and snow.

Overnight for late Monday and early Tuesday, we'll look for partly cloudy skies with a low temperature around the lower 40's.

For Tuesday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with high temperatures in the upper 60's to lower 70's for the Snake River Plain. On Tuesday night, overnight low temperatures will drop to the lower 40's.

There is a chance of rain and thunderstorms for Wednesday with high temperatures back to the upper 60's. Winds will be around 5-10 mph, with potentially gustier winds from thunderstorms.

On Thursday, look for scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60's.

Rain for Friday with some mountain snow. A high temperature in the upper 40's.
