Water service repair scheduled for17th Street
The City of Idaho Falls Water Division will be repairing a leaking waterline Wednesday evening.
Construction will be in the 1500 block of E 17th Street near the intersection with Austin Ave beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Officials say to expect traffic delays and use alternate routes.
Westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane occupying the center turn lane through the construction zone.
Crews plan to have it complete the project overnight during low traffic volumes, but construction may impact the Thursday morning commute as crews patch the asphalt roadway.
No water service interruptions are anticipated; however, if the need arises, impacted residences and businesses in the area will be notified prior to any disruption in service.
