Two cars catch fire after police chase
Two people are in custody after leading Bingham County deputies on a chase Thursday night.
It ended with a car and an ISP cruiser on fire.
Bingham county deputies say they saw a silver Volkswagen Jetta hit a parked car then drive off.
One deputy on foot stopped the car but the driver tried to run him over.
The car ended up driving through a fence into a grain field.
That’s where ISP used a pit maneuver to stop them.​​​​​​
The Jetta then burst into flames along with the trooper’s car. Everyone was able to get out safely.
23-year-old Beaumon Pandoah from Fort Hall is charged with DUI, aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault, and felony pursuit.
Passenger 23-year-old Daylin farmer from Pocatello is being charged with principle to the felonies.
