How you can go to an Idaho State-Civic Symphony performance for free

The Marshall Public Library and Idaho State-Civic Symphony are teaming up to send you to the Symphony’s performances for free.

For the Idaho State-Civic Symphony’s 2019-2020 season, you can check out an Arts and Community Ticket from the Marshall Public Library that will get you into one of six Symphony performances at no cost.

Each pass includes two tickets (two adults or one adult and one child age six or older) to the concert and a bookmark with reading recommendations related to the particular performance.

“The Marshall Public Library looks forward to bringing the opportunity to attend a professional music performance in the beautiful L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center to members of our community who might not otherwise be able to experience it,” said Amy Campbell, Public Services Supervisor with the Marshall Public Library. “This program fits well with the library’s role in Pocatello which includes connecting community members with cultural enrichment.”

Three pairs of Arts and Community Tickets are available per performance.

To get your tickets, you must have an adult Marshall Public Library card.

Tickets are available one week prior to the performance on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one checkout per household per season. The tickets must be returned to the Circulation Desk at the Marshall Public Library after the event.

“We hope to develop the Arts and Community Tickets program over the coming years with multiple community partners,” said Campbell, “and we’re looking forward to showcasing many more of the arts and culture opportunities available to residents.”
