1 person in critical condition after 2 vehicles reported in canal

At least one person in critical condition was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after two vehicles were reported in a canal at the intersection of County Line Road and 15th E.

The Idaho Falls Fire Department reports the incident was reported at 5:14 p.m. Friday.

Officials say one person was trapped inside a vehicle, but everyone is believed to now be out of the water.

IFFD reports at least one person was in critical condition.

The cause of the incident is unknown.
