Soda Springs man killed in I-15 crash
A Soda Springs man was killed shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday in a single vehicle crash near milepost 54, just south of Inkom on Interstate 15.
According to Idaho State Police, Branton Burgess, 24, was northbound on I-15 in a 2012 Chevrolet Cobalt. Burgess drifted off the left side of the road, over-corrected, and went off the right shoulder. The vehicle rolled and came to rest off the right shoulder of the interstate.
Burgess was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died of his injuries at the scene of the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
